All so many people come here asking very generic questions. Some get offended with generic answers or suggestions that they do their homework. So, here is a checklist to help you decide what to do before you ask a question.

1. Introduce yourself. This is best done with a personal blog entry that tells us
   • Where you live
   • Why you are interested in Nicaragua

If you are having a problem with this site, a good first step is to take a look in the forum about the site at http://www.nicaliving.com/forum/4 to see if it is already reported. If you find an answer there, great. If not, create a new forum entry with your report.

Anyone can create a login. It is needed to contribute to the site.

To create a login, click on the Create New Account link. Fill in the requested information and click on the Create button. Your login information will be send to you in e-mail. Note that only fields marked with a red asterisk are required.

There are so many web sites about everything these days. How is this site different?

The sites I have found about Nicaragua can be grouped into these categories:

• Travel information sites
• Government sites (mostly only available in Spanish)
• Oraganication sites dealing with what that organization does
