Cultural Notice - Photo Exposition in Managua

20 young Nicaraguan photographers that are having a group show of images of niños de Nicaragua. All are welcome. Elsa Basil will perform, as will Malos Hábitos be performing an acoustic set. I wish I could be there. Sábado 14 de Julio, en el Restaurante "El Garabato" se esta citando a partir de las 7 pm y la entrada será libre.

I wish I could be there as well. I wonder if it is an annual event? something to jot down on N.L.Events page if there is such a thing.

I belong to forum of artists and a friend of mine posted that she is having her first public showing as a part of this group. If I hear more in the future, NL is the first place I'll drop the details. I'd hope they might be able to take this show on the road to Jinotepe, Granada, Esteli. If anyone would like to host or promote a show like it in their area I would be happy to introduce you to some of the artists I have met. A room to display 20 or so pieces, some hor's d'oevres and a little word of mouth or some flyers is all it takes for a very nice little cultural gathering - a terrific way to meet some interesting folks
