Chow timeSubmitted by Billy Bob on 26 June, 2007 - 10:49.
isbn 99924-57-14-7, Hispamer , Managua, 2002. Spanish only. Mostly a history of Nicaraguan cuisine from indigenous times thru the conquest to modern Nicaragua, it does contain dozens of recipes, including a section on the Atlantic side. Its a very well rounded book, both on the history side and the recipe side. If you want to read up on eating Aztec dog, or want a 1528 recipe for tomal or a current one for beef stew (Indio Viejo), this might just be your book. But you gotta reed a little espanol or turn it over to someone who does. ( categories: )
