That picture looks familiar. Too bad it's not the Emma or is it? I went to Corinto beach as a child and took home a conch so that I could listen to the ocean all the way from the Esteli plateau. I have fond memories of that place since it was the first time I saw the ocean. A direct railroad or road linking Corinto-Esteli would be nice. I heard that there were plans to expand the old railroad from El Sauce to Esteli a long time ago (Somoza-Garcia era). It makes sense.
p.s. I hear that paso caballos is dangerous for swimming.

Yup
It is my favorite restaurant in Nicaragua but not exactly convenient do drop over for dinner. :-)
Too bad there isn't a railroad to Corinto. And, yes, that deserves a :-) as well. If you don't get it, go to the museum in town.
