House Ken Kinzel Lived In

The other day while in Estelí a friend and I decided to buy flowers and leave them at the house. We bought a little bouquet and wrote "Te Recordamos Ken". We wanted to show people in the neighborhood that Ken wasn't alone, that he had friends and people who cared about him, and hope that justice is done. While talking with the neighbors across the street, we'd see people walk past the house, do a double take, and then stop and look at the flowers and read the note. Two hours later my friend got a phone call on her cell phone from the owner of the house asking if she had anything to do with the mysterious flowers. Such was the commotion they caused, that people were calling her and stopping by her house and creating quite a stir. Unfortunately, she didn't like the hassle, so she took them down and put them inside by the alter she has for him. You can be sure that whenever I go to Esteli I will be sure to buy more flowers. If any of you actually knew him and want to leave a note or something on his door, I think that would be a really nice touch as the trial goes into its final stage.
