Wind/Rope Pump

Rope and washer water pumps are very common here. Typical is hand-crank. More creative is bicycle where part of a bicycle frame is mounted on the pump and you "sit and pump".

I just tripped on a web page where this idea has been adapted to wind power. See the basics of the rope and washer pump plus the wind adaption.
