Government's Press Policy Under Fire

IPS has a detailed article about release of information by the Nicaraguan government to the media. I have not included a quote here because I can't find one that would not offer a biased look at what is being presented.

The article does a good job of offering examples of what is seen as the government only releasing information to "friendly media" and counter-examples. Well worth reading.
