Nicaragua Investment OpportunitiesSubmitted by HLritter on 20 February, 2007 - 11:51.
In the left side bar of this site under sponsor there is a picture/link that leads to info on a real estate investment group called Nicaragua Properties. They claim a 30% average annual return on investments. Is there anyone here that is not directly affiliated with this group that has experience or knowledge of this group and their integrity? Thanks! Yankee Beach
Can anyone tell me about Yankee, Lots bought or sold ?????
Nicaprojects
Yes I know them. If you would like info email me. timothyrt@gmail.com,
I wouldnt
I wouldnt count on it. Check NL about the pitfalls. I and others have written alot on the subject. It is best to come here and rent while you check out the locations. Then when you find a Nica you can trust have him help you to find a deal direct with the owner. It is not easy to find one you can trust but Many of us here can share our friends in order to help.

NICA you can trust
that's an oxymoron if I ever heard one!!!
Trust ?
Your interest is real estate ? An agent ? Well....you can go back to USA and really swim with sharks who have greedily inflated the market there to the point of creating chaos or stay in Nicaragua. You think real estate is any different anywhere ? It's a game. Plus....rushing into a country with money...exploiting (and it is when you buy and sell at terribly inflated prices). Then the local people catch on.....Hmmmmm ? Don't think it is a good idea to be in a country and insult the citizens. Willow
Trust
If you can't trust a Nica. What are you doing in Nicaland?

Re..Trust
You need to go there so you can answer your own question..
Even in Real Estate
Gee, I have even found a Nicaraguan "real estate agent" that I think I can trust. They exist just like there are Gringos that you can trust.
Nicaragua Properties
Fyl,
Do you know anything about the people who advertise at this link?

Thanks!

I have three that I can trust. One just took responsibility for what happened to my boat (even though he wasnt responsible) taking a chance on going to jail. By the way, I get the boat back next week, the process was annuled by the courts.

30% annual return..
They would have to explain that one to me...lol
Congratulations,
Bob, on getting your boat back. Of course, the real congrats come when you actually can get your hands on it, right?
Investment Income
I am looking for a place to park some cash for an income. We have always rented before building in a new area and we would not change our habits for Nicaragua.
I agree with you Bob. Good advice! I would still like to know about this group from someone who has invested their own resources with them.
I, too
...would appreciate input from anyone with information about the group.
I have good people I worked with
the man I bought from and my lawyer are completely trustworthy. If you want information, email me bluecayugastudio@hotmail.com
The reason I got my land so cheap is the fact that my son had been (and still is) living in Nicaragua... so we bought for Nicaraguan price. There is plenty of real estate for sale, lots of people buy a house and rent all the rooms out to travelers. There are lots of opportunity but the real estate buisness has slowed a little since the election. I wouldn't invest in San Juan del Sur, way over priced and I don't think the beach is all that great. I can give you names of people I think are trustworthy but there's nothing like living there for a little while and learning the neighborhood, etc.
