Questions..Flying into Managua for Two months on Tuesday

Hey guys...I wrote awhile back about work I am going to be doing with the La Chureca dump, children, and mannaproject. I am curious to how much art supplies are going to be in Amercian dollars in Managua, I need some heavy paper, and also house paint (gallon) primary colors for murals. La Chureca

Hi Dawn, I have some interior/exterior paint at a friend's house in Managua. I am not sure the colors there, but they have been typically white or beige. They are in 5 gallon buckets. You are welcome to one of them for the project. Email me, and I will give you the contact info, if this is something you could use. She will know of places to get other things you need in Managua.

www.reddawndesigns.com has all the photos you need to download flash if you do not have it on your computer...Man their is so much work to be done here. Im looking for a paint supply store here..Theres a price mart but no art stuff. Any ideas? Im painting with kids at Mtn. Hermon a private school and "El Ferito" Cedro Gallan community..and then back to La Chureca in the morning..and then Im going to be checking into some orphanages. Any ideas? God has blessed me with these kids..they hug soo hard they make your stomach shoot to your head..ha

So finally u're coming to the beautiful Nicaland soon ;-), remember we all gave u our inputs about orphanages and stuff? I hope u have a very good experience while being here.

Art suppplies for walls u mean? you can go to Sinsa carretera Norte,or any "ferreteria" in the same street (Carretera Norte,the aiport way) and also for house paint u can consult them too,I have a friend that works there and he can give u a discount depending on how many items u'll need,just let me know.
