The BBC reports that Carlos Slim, owner of Telmex (who happens to own most of Enitel) has pledged to invest heavily in Nicaragua. This looks like another example of Latin America investing in Latin America.

Maybe
more like rich Latinos looking for opportunity. Which is ok, but they are the like the bourgeoisie of latinos no?

Bourgeois
Latino or Canadian, or any rich guy in the business of making money. Nicaragua can only hope to guide a few of them to mutual benefit.
mutual benefit
Thanks to you some poor people in Casares have now some mutual benefit. Sorry, forgot the camera.

Carlos Slim and Ortega
Perhaps Mr Slim is looking for reassurance that his investments in Nicaragua won't end up in the Tank like Venezuela.
