Judging from Maria's apparent age it would appear to be 1975. She's the one with the nasty look on her face :-) It was probably Nicoya who was tormenting her in the picture.

For some reason I thought Maria was younger than I. So I’d figure it had to be around ‘78 but on 2nd thought, there would have been flying bullets all over Esteli in ’78. I’m sure Maria would be flattered though...
