Nicaraguan Owls

Nicaraguan Owls

The tourist guides at Chocoyero are very helpful and knowledgeable. I never would have found these little fellas on my own.

Luckily, I remembered exactly where they were and was able to point them out to some friends we took there. They were impressed with my good eyesight!

Jigsaw Puzzle!

This pic would make a great jigsaw puzzle.

Good Camo

I had to read the posts to realize there were 2 of them. My grandsons have been down every weekend to go hunting and wearing their camo, I tease them that I can't see them when they come in from their stands. So far they haven't brought anything home but a couple of wild hogs, no deer yet. We had snow today in South Texas. I am 50 years old and this is the 3rd time I have ever seen snow. What a great day! Mine is failing a little.

There's

two, John. Look harder.

Is the second one

right in the middle, but further back than the one on the left? They are really hard to pick out!

Actually I saw the one in the center a little deeper in the bush

before I read your post Cathy, and it took me a while...

Really good camelflage

Watch your feet too!

We went to this park and enjoyed it immensely. However, during the hike back to the falls there was a coral snake laying across the trail and it seemed to be NOT interested in moving. I damned near stepped on the thing!

This is a very nice park though.

very cool!

This morning for the first time ever, I saw a bald eagle in NH - up in a tree near an old farmer's house, about 5 miles from my place. It just sat there, gazing out. I sure wish I'd had my camera - that would have been a prize photo for sure.

Keep checking out those Nicabirds and other wild life. I love seeing what is around us. Melanie
