Advice on Nica secondary schoolsSubmitted by BillAndJohn on 23 October, 2006 - 21:54.
Does anyone have any experience with private secondary schools in greater Managua (or Masaya/Granada)? A Nica boy we know who's just graduating from primeria is looking at schools for secondaria early next year. LaSalle is high on his list; unfortunately its website doesn't seem to be up. Anyone know if it offers the international baccalaureate? There was a very helpful post on this last year http://www.nicaliving.com/comment/reply/1597#comment-7878 but it's a year old already, and fairly general. Any info on secondary schools for a Nica student seeking a good education would be most appreciated. Tuition will be a challenge but not an insurmountable one. Bill ( categories: )

La Salle does not offer an IB program....the only school in Nicaragua that does is Notre Dame, but tuition might be an issue....other good and affordable (compared to ANS, Lincoln, etc.) private secondary schools that he should look at: Colegio Centroamerica, Colegio Teresiano (Not up right now), Colegio Aleman Nicaraguense (Deutsche Schule Managua).....
