This is a beutifull pic of Ometepe Island in Lake Nicaragua, you can take a Ferry from San Jorge in Rivas and leave your car there at the port, or get dropp off there.

The water in the lake smells so bad. We were on the ferry at night to san carlos and they had a load of concrete blocks on the front of the boat. The weather started getting rough and the tiny ship was tossed. Some of the spray got on us and it smelled.

Gilligan was peeing in the lake. Either that, or it's the lack of "proper" sewage treatment in the area, but I don't want to start that discussion again.
