Will be in SJS this friday!

Going down to SJS next friday. What are the nightime hot-spots now that Ricardo's is closed??? Please recommend a place where I can take a nice girl and get a "media" of FDC. Any new restaurants that can be recommended?

is a good spot for pizza and the roasted chicken is great! Bob is the new owner and he hangs out at Big Waves! If you go late you can watch the couple across the street set up a restuarant from their house and serve dinner on the sidewalk.

Martin, Big Wave Dave's is a fun hangout anytime of day, for the evening I heard that this new Thai-Japanese restaurant, you need reservations, is outstanding, don't know the number, sorry. Or BWD has some pretty greeat food, too. Regardless, you have to visit El Gato Negro in the Morning, see my write up on this site under LINKS, restarant recommendations. Regards, Dorite

at Zapata's...It's wide open to the evening breezes, you can people watch on the street below and the Mexican food is extra good.. I like Big Waves Dave's too but, hombre.. there was pina in the chilli?!
