Leafcutter Ants

live in colonies of up to 1 million. They do not eat the leaves. They take it back to the nest and let it grow a fungus that they eat. I found these guys tearing up a giant flower pod.

juuuuust kidding. Ants are a collective. Another word I could use to describe them is a commune. :)hence...communists. HA!
