I went swimming there

Laguna de Apoyo. That lake was made 1.5 million years ago. Are you on the Mirador in that photo. We drove down to the water's edge and had lunch(Sopa Marisco,Pollo,Bistek for 250 cordobas) and a swim, i did not wait for my food to digest I jumped right in and swam to the bottom it was only 200 meters deep. The bottom of this lake is the lowest point in all of Central America.
