Your Rod
looks to big. Are you happy with that Rod? Can you handle a ROD like that with such a small lure.

i use shrimp and crab patterns and do just fine.

I dont know anything about them other than I hear all kinds a ya'll sport fishermen talking about 'em

John i'm sure they are
any kind of tidal flats will support bone fish, especially if is is more sandy to soft bottom. they feed mostly on small crabs and shrimp. their upper lip is longer than the bottom. because of this when feeding their tail is out of water, much like a red fish. however they arew not good eating but excellant sport, when caught they can spool a line in seconds they are so fast. built like a torpedo. on my next trip i would love to go to some of the flats with you.
