Chernobyl pigeon?
2nd guess
ratite (n) flightless birds having flat breastbones lacking a keel for attachment of flight muscles: ostriches; cassowaries; emus; moas; rheas; kiwis; elephant birds (ratite bird, flightless bird)
Maybe its a baby Moa. Nope. That's unlikely. Moas were the largest ratite, 9' tall and the Kiwis the shortest. The Maoris killed off all of the Moas as soon as they discovered New Zealand in the 12th century. Before they came there were only birds in New Zealand (no mammals).
Lions & Tigers & Bears Oh My
Were not going to start posting animals and things from around the world are we? At least put it in a catagory .
NO SIR
I went back and read the member guide and I clearly violated the web-site mission statement. I am imposing a 2 week suspension upon myself.
i suspend the sentence.....
and as a term of probation, require you to post more pictures. ken ye.
the itsy bitsy spider......
crawled up the water spout. down came the rain and washed the spider out. out came the sun and dried up all the rain. and the itsy bitsy spider crawled up the spout again.
Simpsons?
Montgomery Burns???
no intiendo......
explicar, por favor.
Does that mean
you don't understand? C'mon man, you know him.
i know monty....
what has he got to do with the itsy bitsy spider?
I'm confused yet again,
I was referring to the picture above. Kind of looks like Monty.
Apparently there's not enough alcohol in my system to keep up. A trip to the FDC store on the way home from work is in order.
sorry, i thought.....
see that's my problem, i thought you were refering to my itsy bitsy spider. i did that bc someone mentioned lions and tigers and bears, oh my. a children's story. yes, i have a hard time keeping up. god only gave me so much. did you hear that haircuttingcowboy, are the liberals going to compensate me for that?
How did you get that picture?
I confess. It's me.
Wrong
Sorry pal but you are wrong, that picture is of Mr Daniel, when it takes his mask off, in an attempt to look more human.
NICALIBRE Jacko
All of you are wrong...

Lyin' Farmer John Wayne
i was trying to point out......
that the post said national bird of north carolina? but unlike texas, north carolina was never a nation? so it would be state bird, right?
dam got me on that one JR
I always was a little slow with that intelectual stuff.
But I will say this, The Great State of North Carolina when I was a young feller coming along, had the best safety record in the country, of public transportation of school children when High School Jr's and Sr's drove the busses and were paid a little for it.
The busses were grovonered to 35 miles an hour maximum speed, the driver could have NO moving violations on their lincense, and were requied to take an additional course of defensive driving in addition to the standard Drivers Ed class.
The standard Drivers Ed. class was given to those who had 15 1/2 years of age in public schools and made them eligable to take the examination for a license. if not, you had to wait till you were 18 to get one.
The class was given in all public schools three days each week, the reason being, was they needed the mule the other two days in the sex education classes.
First in flight, first in Freedom. How is that?
Lynches Creek got it's name from what was done to King Georges tax collector there.
I ain't ashamed to be a Tarheel.
