I was going to be in PC around Xmas and I was looking forward to meeting Alan and the family...Alan was unknowingly instrumental in helping me decide to stage the next act of my life in Nicaragua and even now after his death he inspires me to get on with it....Life is short...do what you have to do now..don't put it off till tomorrow because there may not be a tomorrow..see ya all in Nica very soon...anybody want to buy a house in Tacoma?

I've always tried to live my live with the philosophy of never having any "would'ves, could,ves or should,ves". I have always wanted to be at peace with myself. I have failed miserably here. I could've gone to PC, I should've gone to PC and I would've gone to PC if I had gotten off my dead ass to do it. Too late now. I am so sad. Somewhere on this site, someone proposed going to PC for a memorial for Alan. I will definitely attend. This has also stiffened my resolve to adhere to my philosophy.

i too was looking forward to meeting miskito alan. i even mentioned moving down there sooner to laura. we'll see.
