Hi, Marissa -
so sorry you had to find out this way and this late. It's been a long, sad day. I know how you feel.
Cathy

It's just going to be very strange, surreal that he won't be there to reply, joke, make fun of the stupid things I say. We're in a new world now.
We're in a new world now.
Not completely, just think about the kind of people Alan attracted :-)
Very true
I left work early yesterday to drop something at our West Palm office and felt the need to grab a beer somewhere. I parked the jeep, got out and started walking into a local bar. Stopped, got back in and drove home. The FDC was in the freezer. That's the promise I made to Alan while reading all the posts yesterday. Got in the door and poured a tall one. Raised my glass and said, "here's to you, MA". That started what turned out to be a long night of drinkin'.
i raise a glass of "sparklin FDC"
amen to that. we all are subject to toast MA one last time, in rememberance of a one-of-a-kind type of guy.

Oh, I imagine
quite a few of us will find ourselves toasting to Alan's memory for years to come, with smiles on our faces.
