Is Realejo now known as Corinto?
Does the U.S.S. Merrimac have anything to do with the C.S.N. Ironclad Merrimac that battled the U.S.S. Monitor at Hampton Roads, Virginia during the U.S. Civil War a few years later? I do remember that the C.S.N. Merrimac Ironclad was a conversion from a wooden ship.
