This was right before the bull ran into the market and the people were running through the streets trying to avoid getting run over.

I was in one of the Hospedajes on the road to the Lake. From my room I heard screaming people in the street, but by the time I got out there, the bull had passed. (I guess. I didn't actually ask anybody if the bull had gone, on account of I couldn't remember the word in Spanish...) I loved all the people on horses in Parque Central afterwards, seemingly without an agenda other than drinking and being on horses. Very fun. Too bad I had to come back before the big horse festival which I think happened the next week.
