Foreign SunsetSubmitted by Jack Davies on 29 August, 2006 - 00:15.
Okay its not Nicaragua. I have taken pictures of more gorgeous sunsets but this one has such a peaceful feeling. Its a picture that I took in Sabaw, Borneo, it was the wallpaper on my computer for quite a while. This part of Borneo belongs to Malaysia. There were several outdoor bars on the hotel grounds and there was a strolling mariachi band. We were sitting on a bench near the water when the band came by. They were Filipinos. Filipinos and Indonesians come to Malaysia to look for work the way that Mexicans come to the U.S, and cause the same problems. I asked them to do La Paloma and they sang it in Spanish and I asked them for Oh Solo Mio and they sang it in Ital ( categories: )
