Progress on the finca

Well, Roger and I celebrated our 6th year anniversary Saturday with a picnic on the finca. The above is a shot of the front gates I designed.

Of course, the metalworker didn't come close to the Qs I asked for. Guess I'll have to find someone with a little more talent for design specifics. His gatework is otherwise excellent, and we've got him making another one already.

It was the first time in a month I had been to the finca and I've redone the website at www.freewebs.com/quintaquijote if y'all wanna peek at our homestead so far.

gates

nice gate. not knowing your design, i still think the q's are quite distinctive. how much did the iron work and materials cost? jst

Yeah, they're pretty gates but

I was using the same font as is on our letterhead. Now they don't match at all. Oh well.

The gates cost almost $300, made to my specs and installed.

excellent progress . . .

thanks for sharing!

Switch to "P"

Maybe "El Chino" knows his "P's"; but, not his "Q's".
