MADRID (AFX) - A Union Fenosa SA spokesman said the utility 'has more than fulfilled its obligations' in Nicaragua, noting that the recent blackouts hitting its clients in the country are due to the country's serious energy crisis.

Overnight, Nicaraguan television reported that about 1,000 demonstrators armed with sticks and stones attacked Fenosa's headquarters in the country.

'We are working towards everyone having electricity, but we can't guarantee that this matter will not be used in a pre-electoral period like this,' a Fenosa spokesman said, referring to the run-up to the November presidential elections.

Here we go again, donning scapegoat fur and leather outfits again, like anyone’s going to believe it ever looked good on us. I wonder who’s the a$$h.L3 with the $hi//y taste who keeps trying to bring it into style.

Fenosa: “Sticks and stones may break our bones but energy you still have got none!” Na-na-na,na,na! }:OP

I say we turn this motha’ over to the proper head honcho before the wrong one – say, maybe like Bin Laden - gets a hold of us while we’re busy modeling scapegoat. I mean, Ortega’s already about to get re-elected and Somozas are trying to get back into power. I keep trying to tell these folks, scapegoat doesn’t do anyone any justice and it's OK to feel goood or even be happy. At this rate I'd die practicing celibacy in Nica if it weren't for my dear, considerate husband's visits. I see now why he can confidently leave me behind here. Scapegoat's a turn-off on the same level as cowardice.
