Dentists in NicaraguaSubmitted by doorgunner on 16 August, 2006 - 19:32.
Hey folks. First time poster here. I have been coming to Nicaragua on and off since 1983. I am visiting soon to plan my relocation. I am searching for a dentist/clinc that can offer some reasonable priced crown and bridge work. I'm sure you gringos know if you don't have health or dental insurance in the USA you're screwed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for a great site. ( categories: )

You don't say where you plan to be in Nicaragua but there are comments about dentists in Managua, Granada and Estelí here. Just put dentist in the search box.

there is a husband and wife dental team working in the Las Colinas area of Managua. My wife and I have been seeing them for the last 4-5 years, they were both schooled in the states (good english)and have modern equipment. They are good and inexpensive. As you are coming into Managua on the Carretera Masaya, turn right at the light between the Texaco and Shell stations in Las Colinas.(this is before the new mall down further on the left) On that road, immediately past the shell is a small 2 story set of shops on the right with a dry cleaner and i think a pharmacy. Across the street behind the texaco is a fast food chicken franchise. the dental office is upstairs left hand corner. the last name sounds like Gyigrovin, but thats not how it's spelled. (sorry everything sounds vauge) but this is really all you need: phone # 276-1603. her name is Marta, can't think of his name. jst

It is cheap and good dental care is available here. Personally I choose to )grow old with my original body and teeth. You would be surprised how well your body and teeth survive without the traditional money based "care". My father died recently not because of his ailments (high blood pressure, diabetes etc) but because of all the medicines proscribed which eventually took his kidneys. Just live with the body God gave you and die when it is your time. I know this is off the dental care blog, but just couldnt stop my tirade about doctors.....sorry.
