There's not much zinc to watch rust in Granada so we watch the ice melt instead....

I think I spent to much time in bars while living in Granada. That looks like the El Quijote and all I can see is a 1 foot section of the bar, and a familiar view !!!! Am I correct ??

That's a plastic roof that resembles a cross between baked dirt and rusting zinc.

There's also a thin PVC roof panel that's a cheap and light version of rusting zinc, made in Israel.

Both of the above are available at Home Depot and probably in Nicaragua.

Neither of the above are something I'd recommend if fire is a concern, though I put the Israeli plastic on our carport.
