Avocado wood?

These are the folks that own the isolated property in Miraflor. The wood in the background seemed very non-typical and I asked. It is avocado wood.

It is avocado wood. I didn't ask if it was atypical but I expect that is the case as people seem to want to keep their avocado trees.

I read it (pleading dyslexia here) as "Is it avodado wood". Mea culpa...

That wood is gorgeous, but I see your point...you can't eat it. Or, if you can, I bet avocados taste better. I did the same thing Cathy...read it like I'm dyslexic...as in "Is it", not "It is"!
