mad man crosses Irish sea in toy boat

My crazy friend talked me into crossing the Irish sea in a 15' dinghy...he needed someone to steer whilst he worked out how to use the timer on the camera. the crossing took three days and we encountered Force 8 winds and lots of 'blind' supertankers. we didn't show up on any radar so it was 'interesting' and we did NOT sleep.This photo was taken at dawn on the third day which was totally windless and caused us to add rowing for fourteen hours to our already knackered bodies.
