Late 70s bullet holes

This is what is left of a building right near the center of Estelí. It is actually on the street just north of the municipal building. I took this photo because while it was well known that there was serious fighting in Estelí, a couple of people told me they didn't know of any "remains" of that fighting. So, here you go.

A new building is being built here. I believe it is an extension to the Alcaldia.

Ok, I was wrong. It is a "loan company" that moved there. And I even have an attractive and single relative that works there. Guess you will have to stop by if you are interested in her. The trick is to not explain what her name means in English. :-)
