San Juan de OrienteSubmitted by catahoula_fan on 17 July, 2006 - 11:02.
![]() One of my favorite places to shop in all of Nicaragua is the quaint town of San Juan de Oriente. Located among the Pueblos Blancos, just south of Catarina, SJDO has all the kiln-fired cooking items I could ever want in my kitchen. The brightly painted, touristy items are all lined up along the front of the town, but the best deals can be found by venturing a bit further down the cobblestone streets. One tiny place, right across from the school and next to the church, has some unique items and great prices. But my favorite places are found by going past the school, around the bend and to the bottom of the hill. Happy Shopping! ( categories: )
