There are MANY choices.

Ave Nicaraguita

1 on 1 Tutoring

I haven't personally used any of these but have known gringos who were happy with all three schools. Best reviews have come from 1 on 1 Tutoring students, FWIW...

Questions RE: functioning in Nica with limited Spanish language

Holas!

I am very interested in moving to Nica in the next 6 months. My Spanish language skills are very limited, although I am working at learning through textbooks and CD's. I am glad to know that there are a number of options that seem promising and reasonably priced.

In the meantime, I am wondering how difficult it might be to function in the business realm, such as buying essentials, and also negotiating a land purchase. Is it difficult to find bi-linguals to assist non-Spanish speakers? Regarding a land purchasing process, I assume that it would mare more economic sense to persoanlly scout around for land, as opposed to searching the Internet for real estate.

I´ve heard also of Xalteva Spanish School, which occupies a very nice house, and the other school Ave Nicaraguita located at the Red Cross. Check the comments at http://forum.internationalliving.com/viewtopic.php?t=702&
