Hola Peoples,everyone of u that live in Nicaragua,we all know that tomorrow is teacher's day!

I can't complain,I've had sooooo many good teachers that I can't have a favorite,hehe,I remember them from HS,english classes,college,my mom's colleagues,she's also a teacher :) I remember one of my HS teachers,María del Carmen Mondragon,she was my support during those years and til now,she's single,dunno why,not my fault! :-P can u remember any good teacher and your experiences with them?!?

Underrated, underpaid job

They certainly deserve alot more credit than they usually get. I had quite a few that were great, I just wish I would have paid more attention...Hindsight is 20/20

The schools went on Winter break until July 4th. So at my daughters school they combined Fathers day and Teachers day and had a big party on the 23rd of june the last day of school. I think it was more for the teachers since there was only about 6 fathers there.

That "winter" thing really bugs me. I can live with a lot of Nicaraguanisms, like calling the floor the ground, but calling this season winter just drives me nuts.

Last time I checked, Nicaragua was north of that equator thingy. I'd rather bitch about a Nicaraguan winter than sweat through a Florida summer.
