I kept coming back to this photo.....

I was looking for something to put on nica living. My little girl was the poster child for a child abuse prevention program. The exchange club of Sugar Land put a flag in the field for every case of child abuse for the year and put up her picture on the billboard. For the first week after they took down the billboard, she asks, "where is my picture?"

we are lucky to have her. esp that we are a little older. we just got twins 5 months ago. we are happy, but it's killing me. i am too old for this. but, be careful of what you wish for, it happened to us. i can't think of this house now with out the 3 kids.

Children are often abused by people other then parents. Sometimes it's step parents, relatives. I wasn't accusing him of anything. Jim said she was a poster child. I think if he was going to have a problem with anyone asking he should have not called her a "Poster Child", clairifed she didn't suffer abuse or not posted the picture. To be honest, I figured it was just a case of her being in an advertisment. The picture and the caption left questions, so I asked.

i took it as a joke. if it had actually happened that my little girl was abused, i would not have posted the comment nor have made her available for the billboard. i was a prosecutor for 10 years and have handled some awful cases. the only ones abused in this case, are the parents and the little girl does the abusing. (she is a good girl but can get headstrong at times, but what kid doesn't.)
