San Miguelito-Monkey Point RR Map stamp

This is a stamp commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Nicaraguan Railroad (Ferrocarril del Pacifico de Nicaragua.)

The Railroad line depicted from Monkey Point to San Miguelito was called the Railroad to the Atlantic.

Constrution of the railroad was started but it was never finished. Only 14km were completed before the USA put a stop to it in 1910. For more info click on this link; Nicaragua Railroads
