When you just don't care how you get there

You think you got problems with language? Imagine a bunch of corporate executives sitting around a table and trying to decide what to name this airline.

This is not a doctored picture, it's from that place that had the tsunami a couple years ago. http://www.phuketairlines.com/ I've heard they don't pronounce it the way it looks, but that's their problem.

is foo ket. i was choosing between ko samui and phuket, when i was in the army and a buddy and i were in korea. we chose ko samui.

me of a time a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.....I had come home to see my parents in Alaska during the 70's. I was in the military, stationed in Italy at the time. My 2 littlest brothers were still living at home. We were eating dinner and one of my brothers sat the "F" word. Silence enveloped the dinner table. My mother was aghast. I spoke up saying that "that was the PH spelling" and everyone cracked up and more importantely, saved my little brother from a fate worse than death (cursing at the dinner table).
