Hi, Thom -

when was this taken? Great pic, btw!

Isletas

I took that the first week of march 2006 Went for a sunday excursion with a group of gorgeous volunteers with La Esperanza Granada. Made me wish I had come down 30 years ago when I was younger.

Heh -

you might have met ME then! BTW, do you like FDC? I just got some in the other day, which I ordered online. Great stuff, that FDC!

FDC

I have a new goal in life- to have a FDC iv just like people accuse MA of having. Sounds like a great idea(without the grits). In an intravenous five year old would do well I think.

Hey, now!

If you don't like grits, then what can I think of you? I'm not sure MA has an IV for FDC, but it's something he'd like for people to think (just ask Santana, except that she's been excluded from NL, if I'm not mistaken!) Not to say that it wouldn't be nice, just not true...

Santana's been ousted?!

Poor, champ.

Only congratulating and participating allowed. Feel/Dig? I just don't have the taste for hating.

Se-vnt3

I've been reincarnated.....no fear...I'm still alive and well..kinda!

;-)

You go girl with yo' Jazzy-self!

That's what I'm talkin'bout.

JE

I love NL. It permits me to continue the studies I left behind in the US. If I'da known, I'da returned willingly a long time ago.

I love you MA and I don't have to send grits or know how to fish to do it either :-D!

I'm even considering removing my signature and changing my ID for fun myself.

The real Delema

is If I will continue to call you Santana or call you Jazz.

re: delema

Oh MY....the choices one must have to make in life! Combine the two names and come up with something creative ;)

Santanja it is...

SANTANJA

OR

you could have Santajazz (tis the season, not!), or Jazztana. 'Cause, honestly, Josh, I don't know how to pronounce what you wrote!

re:or

LOL...ditto for me to cmoore, I kinda like Jazztana.

Sounds like

La Mokuana jaja. better Jazzana or SantaWannabeAna haha

FAP

Santan-JAor in spanish

Santan-JA

or in spanish S-ah-n-t-ah-n-ha

Yeah, well

I still like mine better. Sorry, Josh :-)!

Jazztana

Santa lives in Esteli. I like the sound of Jazztana. How about Ranchera, from Rancho Santana? Or Vaquera? Maybe even Charra?

Cursi?

Only congratulating and participating allowed. Feel/Dig? I just don't have the taste for hating.

Wow

That's cold.

Same as Charra

Cursi/Dweeb/etc....

Oops, a regionalism that didn't translate

My dictionary says it's a pretentious person. By charra, I intended a female version of charro, or cowboy (at least in Mexico).

How about just calling her Charo, after the entertainer? Cootchie coo!

re: John

Wow..I'm being insulted in two languages..damn I really am special...LOL

Anyone want to add a third language into the mix of things?

I'ma make one up

Lequita

It means whatever you want it to mean. The trick is you have to tell me your translation and brace yourself for my reaction because you must continue translating. Lequita is a "word". I still haven't figured out the language's name. OK, another new rule: you have to figure the name of the language too and I get to pick wether you're right or wrong.

LOL

You asked for it and I aim to please.

Charytin, Cha-Cha,

Churri?

Jazz? Hello? Which do you like? Jazz fits you, you earned it.

re: sevnt

"a rose by another name would smell so sweet"

Sevent...I really don't care however if I had to make a choice, I like Jazz because this has been my name for 10 years on AOL....so I'm kind of partical to it.

The spelling of my name is actually Jazzriel, who was a moon angel.....if interested in new age angels or witchcraft I recommend Silver Ravenwolfe's books, she has written many but Angels and Practical Majick is probably one of my favorites.

To much information? lol

T.M.I.

"a rose is a rose is a rose"

Like Jezebel??? The evil and scheming woman from the Christian Bible??? Then would you mind if I'd be Jez? Wow. We're almost sisters form THE OTHER SIDE!!!

};-D.

Sevnt a question for you

LOL...yes, the name Jazz has been translated into Jezebel on numberous other websites. I've also been called the anti-christ...which I took as a compliment :) I'm not a big believer in the theroy of only one God or Goddess but rather multiple. Furthermore, I don't believe that any one religion is correct. I also believe that unorganized religions are probably more organized then Non.

I guess now is the time to tell you that I consider myself a Goddess, and you tell me one Goddess who hasn't wrekked a bit of havoc with others? Oh those Greek and Roman days...what fun! "Oh what tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceive". Those myths beat any soap opera on TV!!!

Hmmmmmmmmm maybe you can answer this for me...does Nicaragua have any gods or goddesses or mystical spirits?

I consider myself a latin

I consider myself a latin Diva and whatever else anyone’s inspired by yours truly to call me – as long as I inspired it.

Yes, deception – what great fun! Soaps do pale in comparison to real life…

Nicaragua has many, many self-proclaimed gods, goddesses and mystical spirits we can play with.

Same-difference

John.

Upper North Philadelphia latin lingo, how I learned it: Cursi/Lame. Hope you have as much fun with it as I have.

John

The Word "Cursi" means Ordinary, too common.

FAP

Wow again

That's cold, too. Love her or hate her, she's not ordinary.

I'm kinda not knowing

who Santa is, or do I? Who is Santa? How about Ranchjazz?

?

once again I'm with you cmoore..haven't a clue who Santa is... except for that big phat guy with white beard and a red suit who travels by reindeer express over Christmas.

Santa of Esteli

Again, thanks, Alan

I mean, I knew about Phil. I just hadn't seen this particular picture of him. I now understand the Santa reference!

Grit(s)

I must not get it. My uncle grows some of the best eating corn in the world in Southern Alberta. Grit is small gravel we put on our roads nine months of the year so we dont slide off them. You somehow mix the two and eat it?? Sounds like a waste of good corn. Or is the corn in the southern states so bad a little grit in it helps. Even "My cousin Vinnie" didn't understand grits!

You can always...

...sell it out and/or take up drinking FDC full time.

Je!!!

Only congratulating and participating allowed. Feel/Dig? I just don't have the taste for hating.

Naw -

we have some of the bestest corn in the world. Grits is just another way to enjoy them!! You either love 'em or you don't!
