Yes. i did drive from West Palm Beach area, I think it was like 4800 miles or something.
It takes like 6 days. I had so many computers and other stuff that what I paid cannot be representative for the real cost, I just used money instead of paperwork, if you understand.

I had a question about how popular/common they are in Nicaragua. I'm thinking about getting a Honda Pilot, possibly a 4WD. Since I'm also thinking about going back to Nica, I was wondering about the availability of parts/service for this brand. I'd aappreciate any ideas or insight anyone would have.

John.
It's very good for here, have 16" rims, rides high, get's dirty inside, just hose of floors and seats, NOT THE DASH, more than anything is the quality, I don't expect any proplems for a long time, it suits me, and that's what I care about.
John, next time you are comming, let me pick you up and bring you to Diriamba, Carazoland.

I'd like to drive my Subaru Forester down there and we can go AWD-ing. I sure hope we make it there this year; all it takes is money :-)
We'll definitely be in Diriamba, since Maria's mom is there. I'll have to finish up the drawings of their house, too. They want solar and wind generators if you know of a good source where they can get them.
We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people

Good question
There are lots of CRVs there, no Pilots when we were there in Dec. Stick to Toyota, Mitsu, etc. sold there and you won't go wrong.
Is this yours?
Roger, did you import a vehicle with no maintenance support to Nicaragua, flaunting all the friendly advice you've read here on NL????
Seriously, how does the Elephant (sorry, Element) work out there? It's a nice vehicle.
tha Element

Coming or Going?
John was here with me in Puerto Cabezas about 5 months ago; but, it took him 2 hours to find my house directly in front of the airport.
