Hotel Ritzo

City: Managua c. Masaya Description:

Hotel Ritzo is located, traveling south from MGA, 1 and 1/2 blocks behind Domino's Pizza on c. Masaya on the left hand side just before reaching Pharoh's & TGIF.

I have stayed in this small and beautiful hotel which only has 10 rooms. The owner is Dona Ritzo who speaks very good English.

The rooms are U$50/single and U$60/double.

Breakfast is included.

An image has been recently posted of the beautiful sculpture in the lovely courtyard.

The "watchie" is always happy to find a taxi for you and the entire staff is very helpful to all guests.

Reservations are recommended by me. With the small number of rooms; the hotel is usually full.

A second Hotel Ritzo is now operating in b. Fontana.

Thanks for the info,

MA. However, their website sure needs a lot of work!

New Website

This website is new due to the addition of the 2nd hotel location.

The old website was great with great photos.

This new website is still under construction.

I've stayed there a couple ot times...

the second time, I got a much larger (nicer) room located near the front of the hotel just off the courtyard. Nice folks, comfortable rooms, telephone, a/c, cable, big bed, great location, good security and lots of abstract art;). Oh and how can I forget...a boutiful supply of hot water!!!

Another Room

I can't remember this room number at the present time; but, I have a favorite room that is from the front door and past the bar on the left side and is almost across from the courtyard. This room is large and has its own private courtyard with a table and chairs.

The bar and furnishings and paintings are great.

Do not forget the hi-speed internet(s) access.

Hey MA

thanks for all the great advice and the tip on this room.

Requested it and it appears i'll be staying there tonight...that is if they really understood my Spanish?? :)

R.I.P.

Well I got the room upgrade...

to include a small patio off the bedroom (will post a pic)...although the patio was not large enough for furniture....guess you have to have special status to stay in the presidential suite...jejeje
