the paint........
is it a concerted effort? is someone telling people to color up sjds?
peer pressure
...and the locals make a little nore here, so there is more money for home improvement projects.
Personally, I have a visual color schematic for the town. It pains me to see Carribean teal on a house. The mercado had a renovation a few months ago, and they painted the outside industrial beige with brown trim. My vision was a little different, involving a sea green trim melting into a dark blue recatngle/square with a beautiful sunface in the center. It has nothing to do with the goods inside the market, but it would have looked cool (until a stray dog pissed on the walls). In an ideal world, Eduardo, our mayor, with consult with me before the city began any painting projects.
you should ask him to appoint you to .....
the director of exterior decorating. the art car parade was last weekend. i am apopsyapetic, so back to the original topic, i like orange clay tile roofs and white walls. i know, you probably think it is boring, oh well! you could have a campaign, trash off sjds! easy for me to find work for someone else. i'll stop digging now.
