Hi.
Enitel quoted $ 580.00 , the contractors that work for Enitel reduced to
$ 450, the job was done in 2 days. Then comes the dish problem, that was 2 days, then my 80' tower was to low, and another 10' had to be added, one more day, and then it worked.
I have 512kb and it's very good, total cost $450, plus 1.000cs and $49.00 to enitel, first month should be free.
The whole thing was 3 weeks, my neighbor has waited 4 months for the same thing.

Yes you can, but it must be a small one, limmited output, perhaps enough for the toaster or perhaps even the blender, over that amount of energy
you would need to redesign or at least use some heavier support wires, the stuff they are using is really thin, but again probably enough for the dish and the wind we can expect here in Carazoland.
Interesting thought tho.
Roger
Roger you might be surprised, wind turbines are far more efficient then solar panels. While it might only power a toaster, high draw deviced like that don't stay on all day. That's why you have battery banks. If two guys are hanging off that tower, I believe there would be potentl to put a 400w turbine. If there is enough wind in your area would determine if it was feasible.

Pete.
I really dont know anything about it, I was just joking, there was actually 3 guys in the tower for a while, it looked straight and it didnt move any, also they did add another 10 ' after that picture, so now its really scary.
paperwork
No paperwork problems for putting up the antenna???
paperwork
There was no paperwork, all handled by Enitel
wow
Everyone keeps telling me about the antennas that they will build for you for $800, is this it?
If it is its bigger than I expected

Nicaliving flag
I can do that, but I dont have one, another thing, who is going to put it up? not me........
up, up and away
Well I will give it a try and see how far I can make it up before I freak myself out. I have done some stupid things before...
wow is right!
now can you put a wind turbine on it?

Height
How high is the tower?
tower
Pete.
90 feet, sitting on a concrete slab 3 feet deep, the first section ( each section 10') was installed the first day when they poored the concrete.
i like the idea of wind power,
now if i could only get someone to concur with my idea of passive cooling through pulling cooler ocean water through a coil in my slab.
