License Plate (the first)Submitted by carina_cisneros on 5 May, 2006 - 23:21.
Anyone knows what year was the first for the Nicaraguan government to issue metal license plaques for autos and / or motorcycles? This is an antique question really not a infrastructure one. A friend collects such things and we also have seen some older undated photos in which the cars in the pictures seems do not have plates on them so we were thinking maybe the issuance is fairly recent? The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of a private power to a point where it becomes stronger than the democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism - ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power. |
