I have been to the Malecon many times and I've barely glanced at the Concha Acustica.
Next time that I'm in Managua, I will certainly take a closer look.
The view from the air is very impressive.
Sr. Jeronimo Polanco, who was murdered this week in Managua with the involvement of the driver for the police commissioner, owned one of the pictured bar-rooms.

I went to see Glen Small (Architect of this and a few of the fountains in Managua) speak about a year ago in NYC, strange fellow.
