Managua's Concha Acústica

As I was flying past today, I couldn't resist taking this shapshot of the Concha Acústica in the Malecón of Managua.

If this image should be in the Managua category instead, feel free to move it!

Funny and/or Strange

I have been to the Malecon many times and I've barely glanced at the Concha Acustica.

Next time that I'm in Managua, I will certainly take a closer look.

The view from the air is very impressive.

Sr. Jeronimo Polanco, who was murdered this week in Managua with the involvement of the driver for the police commissioner, owned one of the pictured bar-rooms.

I went to see Glen Small (Architect of this and a few of the fountains in Managua) speak about a year ago in NYC, strange fellow.

In anycase theres a few views of this on his page. http://www.glenhowardsmallarchitect.com/gsmall_p38.html
