transporting cats by airline

Somehow this "thing" won't let me post to the "who know how to get a cat from Nica to USA or Europe" sending me into a loop, so I had to post it separately.

Temperature regulations are valid, when you transport an animal as cargo. Most airlines will let you take a small pet as a hand-luggage, but only ONE pet per AIRPLANE. Between USA and Europe it cost around $75 extra and no temperature regulations, since in the cabin temperature is always suitable ( or should be) for both humans and pets. Now, if you want to get a pet to Europe you need to google European Union + pet importation regulations and you get it. The regulations vary, depending on the country from which pet is imported - whether there is rabvies there or not. I do not remember whether Nicaragua origin requires quaranteen - if it does, it would be costly, but if you can keep the cat for a minimum of 6 months in the USA and then export it to Europe it will be under USA origin rules (no quaranteen with proper vaccinations). Hope this clears some confusion.
