This is the side of the church and one of the main streets in Juigalpa. About 8AM and too hot already.

I remember...

I remember that was a beautiful Spanish style catholic church. Then I think it suffered irrepairable damage and was rebuilt by a norwegian architect in a more modern style.

Style

Are those guard towers on the roof?

The bell tower of the cathedral in Esteli was used by snipers in the war. Maybe these were designed to be more ergonomically suitable for that.
