just returned back home to Nicaragua . . .

wow feels good! ~=40 F degree difference in temps. I'm glad to see lots of interesting posts and photos here in my absence. It wasn't that I was not checking out NicaLiving or anything, but I wasn't in the mood to post from the other side.

I'll spare you all the details, but my trip to California was mostly about getting my gotta-dos out of the way so I am cleared for another five months (at least) of NicaLiving.

Thanks to all my U.S. sponsors. I'm blessed that I have lots of great friends and two fabulous sisters. A new record of sorts . . . I stayed in six different locations on this three week trip including the lovely home of my very cool professor-nephew in SLO.

Dyl bought my beloved 1969 VW Van so as to keep in the family. Van will be doing what Van likes to do, which is to drive just a few miles and go to the beach with longboards inside. Awesome!

The big news NicaLiving is that I am officially now one of those dreaded Rivas coastline real estate people; yes I *have* a website!

I'm working with the Nicaraguan family from whom I bought my land in Guasacate Hills. I'll just say now that it will be a little nice project. I will see this weekend what shape they are in as far as infrastucture development.

I'm not happy with the Guasacate Hills website. It is probably one of the worst you have ever seen (and some of the ones listed here are ugly). I'm trying to work with the kid/designer to make it not suck so horribly before I publicize my contact info and start *paying for* advertising here on NicaLiving.

As some of us are wont to say "PM me for details" hehehe.
