HOW CAN A PERSON LOVE ANOTHER?

How much can a person love another?

A universe exists in time and space,

Placed within the boundaries of one place,

Pressed into a point far from forever.

Yet love comes to us from some quite other,

Visiting our sorrow with its grace,

Lending us the wisdom of its wonder.

Even as I say this, you are there,

I LOVE YOU; Rosario, Nicaliving and Nicaragua!

Because I live with my Nica wife Rosario, I always have a piece of Nicaragua with me, even though I live in the USA.

Today I was listening to some real old traditional Nica music. I got the music from a posting John made at;

My wife Rosario started dancing and singing.

As she swayed back and forth with the rhythm, she prepared a most special treat.

Rosario made tortillas by hand. She then topped the tortilla off with some crema (cream) and quesillo (a cheese like mozzarella.)

She then proceeded to smother the tortilla with some incultillo (pickled veggies.)

This sandwich is called a quesillo (like the cheese)

She made the incultillo several days before by pickling some sliced onions, carrots, and cauliflower. She placed them in an old covered glass pickling jar and filled it with vinegar, then she placed it out in the sun for two days.

Then she made gallo-pinto (rice mixed with beans.) gallo-pinto means painted rooster and it refers to the rice having a painted color from the beans, like the speckled color of a rooster's feathers.

Rosario never skipped a beat, all the time dancing and singing.

Her gyrations left me asombrado (in a state of awe).

My mind was transported to that dreamy land which the nicaliving family brings to life on this web sit.

It's like the lazy humo (smoke) from the burning lenilla (fire wood) of the outdoor cocina (kitchen). Like that humo, nicaliving envelops you, impregnating your clothes, you can feel the burning in your nostrils, as the humo carries you away as if in a psychedelic high.

Because of the lack of oxygen, your hart is trying to pump more blood, you can feel your hart, as if someone was pounding from the inside of your pecho(breast) with their punos (fists) trying to get out. The pounding and euphoria brings on memories of love, bursting passionate love.

All of a sudden you can imagine flying high above the beautiful Nicaraguense paisaje (landscape) and in lagrima (tears) llora (cry) out "Mi Hermosa Nicaragua" (My gorgeous Nicaragua)

Yo envidio (I envy) the Nicaliving people.

If only through my lagrima, My Rosario takes me there to Nicaragua, "Mi Ermosa Nicaragua"!
