Lunar eclipse

Apparently we will getting a front-row seat of the lunar eclipse on Monday night and Tuesday morning. It will be a full eclipse and reach its maximum at about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. I doubt that I will be able to stay up that late.

lunar eclipse

According to the news that I get the total eclipse will be the last that we will be able to see until 2019. It starts on Tuesday morning at 1:58 am EDT and will finish at 5:33 EDT. The total eclipse will be visible/invisible at around 3:00am EDT. The event will be available on NASA.gov. Years ago, perhaps late 70's or early 80's, I watched 5 planets in line together. The heavens are marvelous! I have seen Haley's Comet. Don't expect to see it again. I always stay up, it makes my nap more productive.
