Peter Buffet, son of Warren Buffet, has written an article for The New York Times on the charitable-industrial complex. I have just been listening to a radio interview with him and he said the response on his website has been mostly positive, that somebody had to say it. This is much like his father who is "known for calling a spade a shovel."
The interviewer said we were left with no conclusion, that Buffet didn't tell us how to solve the problems. The response came in two parts 1) They are complex, difficult to solve problems and we need to think about them. 2) He avoided suggestions for some reason related to the polarized approach in modern politics that causes nothing to get done.
